Heuristic Analysis
To start off, my classmates and I examined the current website to define its issues regarding user experience.

Adjacent Industry Audit
After that, we looked at current brands on the market to see what we can learn from how they solve the problems, and from then we will avoid the mistakes that Tutor Orial’s website is currently experiencing.

Final Prototype

Finding Tutor: users can look for their tutor by keyword, subject, educational level or date and time that are ideal for them. They can also click on color-coded tags to explore more of the option.

See tutor’s information and check their availablity depending on the subject.

Book a session(s): users should choose a subject first before proceeding to choosing available dates and times. They can choose multiple session(s) by clicking “Confirm date and time” after each session. When they are done with all the desired sessions, they will move on to Payment.

Order review: users don’t need to have an account at this point to check out. They just simply need to enter their preferred email so the site can send the session information to payer.

Confirmation: Users are expected to sign up at this stage to access and modify their paid sessions.
︎Conducting heuristic analysis helps identify hidden problems
︎Looking at adjacent industries allows me to learn what works and what doesn’t for user experience
If I had more time, I would:
︎Conduct more usability tests
︎Polish the interface
︎Work on interactions and pay attention to details
︎Spend more time on design thinking
